Another Texas festival added in March
In addition to being invited to the official SXSW (South By South-West) festival in Austin, the band is also added to the list of bands playing at the Denton festival NX35 just a few days earlier. Øystein nominated for the Norwegian music award Spellemannsprisen
Øystein is nominated for the work on Edendale, released in Norway last year, in the category for “Best popular music composer”. Bigbang have been nominated 5 times before (best newcomer, best album x 3 and best song), but never won an award. The award is the Norwegian version of the Grammys.

BigBang invited to play the South By Southwest festival
BigBang are one of fifteen other norwegian bands who are invited to play the South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas. The festival attracts close up to 12.000 registrered participants, and has grown to become an important place for the international music business to meet.
