“Edendale” is the seventh studio album (2 complilations and one live album completes the 10 album strong back catalog) by the Norwegian rock band Bigbang, but the first official album release with new material in the US. There will be a record release event @ The Roxy (Sunset Strip, West Hollywood) in Los Angeles, Thursday January 21st. Details can be found on the concerts page!

- “Something Special” and “Wild Bird” are featured on previously released albums in Norway. “Falling” has only been available as digital download, so this is the first physical edition of the song. - Edendale is a historical name of a Los Angeles district. Placed northwest of downtown LA the area is today known as Echo Park and the eastern part of Silver Lake. This is the district where the band have lived and played most of their music during the USA visit. 100 year ago this area hosted most of the larger studio movie companies, during the time of the silent movies.

Got my copy today. I was a bit disappointed with the single version of Play Louder on the US disc. Where’s the album version?

  2. Hm, Actually didn’t know it was a short version on the US disc. I think the LP is the same though.. You should be able to get the long version free of charge here, thanks to SXSW: http://www.rockinginaustin.com/2010/02/sxsw-best-of-rest-round-1.html
