Tomorrow, Tuesday April 28th, Bigbang is set to play at Athletic Sound 25 year celebration. Some of the all time best Norwegian bands have worked on their albums there.
ABC Nyheter currently runs a set of articles covering some of the albums from the studio history, and today they present “Electric Psalmbook” by Bigbang, originally recorded @ Athletic Sound eleven years ago in 1998.
The article covers some of the history leading to todays success, from Øystein selling his Vespa to get money to record this album, playing for 2-300 people live @ Kalvøya and around 100 @ Norwegian Wood the year after, to the turning point @ ByLarm where they did the performance who led up to the initial Warner contract.
