- Edendale is a historical name of a Los Angeles district. Placed northwest of downtown LA the area is today known as Echo Park and the eastern part of Silver Lake. This is the district where the band have lived and played most of their music during the USA visit. 100 year ago this area hosted most of the larger studio movie companies, during the time of the silent movies.

har Nikolai joinet igjen? det var godtt å se. rytmegruppen på Radio Radio Tv-Sleep er til dato den bedste bandet har haft! godt å se den “ekte” opsetningen igjen!
håber han bli’r hengende.

It looks like Nikolai is going to be playing with the band for now yes, although i dont think its a permanent solution. Bigbangs bass and drum player CAN always be a subject of change and sometimes will. A lot of people consider these 3 to be the best lineup tho, and i think we all are excited to see them back playing together :D
yeah. i have just been sitting and listening to some of the old livematerial that i found on the bootlegs page (that saved my otherwise dreadfull day!), and as i listened to the stuff with Nikolai, i really came hoping that they will find peace with this lineup. in my ears they sound the best like this. but you are right; if things should go as they usually do, then there will probably be changes. just as it has been since Christer Engen left to play with Turbonegro. but i remain helplessly hoping. to me this lineup IS bigbang ;oD
Yeah :) The good thing tho is that it seems they all remain good enough friends to join in now and then when it fits … It seems everyone is open to some guest appearances occasionally.. which is a excellent thing, as they are all talented musicians. I guess Øystein wouldnt handpick them if they wasnt ;)
You will find some of the answers to some questions we asked Øystein interesting im sure. So look out for them on friday, we arent allowed to publish them before that :]
You should join the forum aswell to discuss everything there is. We are trying to expand the users and heaten up the discussions, and since its more or less all in english now international users are more than welcome.
Bigbang is possibly the best kept secret from Norway. In a way its a good thing, but i think the rest of the world is missing out ;)
you are sadly right in that.
I have done a great deal to promote them i Denmark where i live, but it takes more time when they play so few gigs here so people can’t really see them ‘in action’ – wich, in my opinion, is their #1 strenght and true element. they tore the shit out of the people that came to see them at Spotfestivallen for example.
Sounds nice with a forum. i’ll definately check it out!
looking forward to the Q.A. on friday then :oD
